Values & Leadership

What Children Need to Thrive.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Convenience makes healthy choices harder. Strong life skills help children build better lives for themselves and others.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP & LEADERSHIP

Many college graduates finish school with limited practical business knowledge. Financial literacy and entrepreneurship help children build ideas into reality and equip them with the leadership required to excel.

WORKING WELL WITH OTHERS

Life is lived with other people. Learning to communicate, cooperate and navigate challenges helps children build stronger relationships and influence better outcomes.

What is

Alpha Builders?

A HEALTH & WELLNESS

LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM

Kids learn practical life skills that promote good health for themselves and others through enjoyable, engaging, hands-on cooking experiences.

HIGH LEVEL BUSINESS & LEADERSHIP

DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUTH

Kids explore MBA-level business concepts from finance, entrepreneurship, strategy and more -- delivered in engaging, digestible lessons appropriate for their age.

COMMUNITY oF

LIKE-MINDED PEERS

Kids grow with like-minded peers, building strong relationships and developed values that guide them through life, in a Bible-based community that protects the integrity of the family and household for generations to come.

So What Happens in Each Session?

4:00PM - 4:10PM

STRETCHING & MOBILITY

We start each session with movement while discussing and reinforcing the importance of health, wellness and building healthy habits for life.

4:10PM - 4:20PM

VALUES HUDDLE

Our Bible-based values huddle explores a story, lesson or parable and the values and wisdom behind it.

We then connect these lessons to the business, leadership and life topic of the day, helping students understand how Biblical principles apply to everyday decisions and challenges.

4:20PM - 5:00PM

BUSINESS SCHOOL

Inspired by Chef Rob’s experience with online business courses from Harvard Business School and Wharton, we make MBA-level topics practical, relevant and fun for young minds—the same way Chef Rob taught us.

Lessons are adapted to their age, helping students learn how to think, make decisions, solve problems and build ideas of their own.

5:00PM - 5:30PM

KITCHEN SKILL OF THE DAY

Each session introduces an essential kitchen skill, from food safety and sanitation to knife skills, cooking techniques and proper kitchen organization.

Students learn practical skills they can use at home while developing the discipline and good habits of a professional kitchen.

5:30PM - 6:30PM

FAMILY MEAL PRODUCTION

This is the high-action part of every session—cooking, measuring, organizing and plating dozens of dishes together as a team, inspired by the systems of award-winning professional kitchens but designed for young people.

They build practical cooking and teamwork skills they can carry into friendships, family life and eventually a home of their own.

6:30PM - 7:00PM

FAMILY MEAL

Students sit down together to share the meal they prepared while reflecting on the day’s values, business lessons, kitchen skills and experiences.

Everyone is encouraged to speak and share, helping develop their voice, confidence and communication in front of a group while building friendships and stronger bonds around the table.

Over time, we want them to become young people who can express themselves thoughtfully, listen to others and feel confident having meaningful conversations wherever life takes them.

HOMEWORK & MICRO PROJECT

Each session ends with an optional challenge or micro project students can continue at home at their own pace.

These are designed to encourage initiative, curiosity and independent learning—giving students the opportunity to practice, experiment and take ownership of what they build between sessions.

NEXT SESSION:

SAME FORMAT, A NEW SET OF TOPICS

ABC meets every other Wednesday, giving students time between sessions to absorb what they learned, practice independently and apply new ideas at home and in everyday life.

The rhythm keeps the experience exciting and sustainable alongside school, family and other activities, while giving students something meaningful to look forward to throughout the year.

A SUPPORT GROUP & EXPERIENCE

READY FOR THE WORLD

ABC members become part of an online community where they can stay connected, share ideas and continue friendships beyond each session.

Members may also be invited to special events and experiences from time to time, giving the community more opportunities to learn, connect and have fun together.

A COMMUNITY FOR LIFE

Our hope is that the friendships, values and skills built at ABC stay with our members long after the program.

We hope to see them grow into good, capable and productive adults who think wisely, work hard, build meaningful lives and contribute positively to their families, communities and the world around them.

Independent Program Notice

Alpha Builders Club is an independently developed and offered personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any school, church, religious organization or other institution unless specifically stated.

The Founders

Alpha Builders Club began as a homework assignment in Chef Rob Pengson’s Chef MBA & APEX coaching program at the Aleanza Institute.

Alumni Anne S. and Kaye M. saw the potential of their idea and asked Chef Rob to help turn their plan into something real.

And that’s how ABC came to life. :)
